My story
I was born in the most romantic city of Eastern Europe, city of art, chocolate, coffee, and rattling trams. I was raised to enjoy music, art, holidays, respect traditions, and cherish the beauty of the world.
I graduated from Lviv Polytechnic National University, the oldest technical higher education institution in East Europe. I was an active member of BEST, the Board of European Students of Technology. In order to gain a deep understanding of our audience, we researched different European cultures and used that knowledge to create a powerful and innovative student network.
When I moved to Shanghai I discovered a new passion for fashion and marketing. Fashion introduced me to the world of design and marketing taught me about the value in creating a positive user experience.
Life brought me to Austin and I began working in one of the newest high-rise residential spaces in the city. Here, interpersonal, communication, and problem solving skills are critical aspects of the job. I learned how to take a human-centered approach and provide outstanding customer service by understanding my user’s desires, needs, and pain points. This experience was an important step on my path to becoming a UX designer.
Now it has been over 5 years since I made Austin my home. I enjoy painting, cooking, meeting new people, and walks around Ladybird lake with my dog Louie. I embrace culture and try to bring it to the designs and work I create.
